JESSICA LEWIS Owner & Creative Director of West River Malas
West River Malas started as a crafty side gig where I could create with my hands and escape by focusing on the beads and knots in front of me. As I shared my process with those around me I was inspired to expand my love for handcrafted healing. Now West River Malas is on its way to being a community resource, and a safe space where people can build connections all while expressing their creativity.
I grew up locally in the Black Hills. I find solace in the fresh air, the outdoors, and in my martial arts training. I'm married to an amazing man, a momma to a sweet little boy, and am a fur momma to two energetic pups, Working in the healthcare field I understand the importance to finding balance in life. I am a firm believer that working with your hands, fresh air mixed with sunlight, and a supportive community are all the ingredients you need for a well balanced soul.
I hope you will join me in finding balance through movement, meditation, and the art of beading as a path towards a healthy body, mind, and spirit.
